Sensitive Skin & Rosacea

Rosacea and sensitive skin's natural barriers do not function properly increasing Trans Epidermal Water Loss (TEWL) and creating a more permeable epidermis. This can lead to a roller coaster skin effect that alternates from dry, dehydrated skin to ​oily skin with a red, irritated surface.

 

Our treatments strengthen the skin's barrier function through nourishing botanicals, potent anti-inflammatories and skin-friendly hydrators that heal and restore the skin to quickly reduce redness, while calming and soothing irritation.

Dermaplaning

​Dermaplaning is a physical exfoliation method that employs the use a sterile, surgical scalpel to gently scrape the surface of the skin to trigger the cell regeneration  process and allow better product penetration. It removes the very fine vellus hair (aka peach fuzz), which can often accumulate dirt and oil. Vellus hair will not grow back darker or thicker after demaplaning. This treatment also removes dead skin cells and irregular surface layers for healthier, brighter skin that has a softer and smoother look and feel.

 

The procedure is safe, not painful and no downtime is required afterwards. Can be performed every 30 days.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a physical exfoliation  method that increases cellular regeneration and stimulates collagen production.  It exfoliates the skin by passing ultra-fine diamond crystals over the skin with a vacuum tube to: 

  • Improve age spots and blackheads

  • Improve hyperpigmentation (patches of darkened skin)

  • Exfoliate your skin, resulting in a refreshed appearance

  • Reduce fine lines and wrinkles

  • Reduce or eliminate enlarged pores

Lymphatic Drainage

This facial treatment leaves the skin
clearer, brighter and reduces puffiness. It helps correct swelling and stagnatiion in the lymph nodes by moving out toxins and other waste. Some clients report lessened sinus congestion. The procedure is gentle and can help boost the immune system.

 

It's important to drink plenty of water afterwards.

Chemical Peels & Resurfacing Solutions

Advanced peels and treatment solutions for the best clinically corrective results to brighten skin, address hyper-pigmentation and produce glowing even-toned skin. ​

We use Lira Clinical's Precise Peel Technology and a healing approach to peeling with custom formulated resurfacing solutions that have healing minerals, botanical extracts, and plant stem cells for cellular repair.

Microneedling

​Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, is a safe and effective way to rejuvenate the skin and treat scars, reduce wrinkles, and tighten sagging, loose skin. Microneedling initiates the body's natural healing response by creating thousands of micro channels in the skin to produce more collagen.

 

Collagen is an essential protein that keeps the skin looking youthful with a firm, smooth and stretchy texture. Aging causes the decline of collagen, which contributes to wrinkles and other signs of aging. Skin can also lose collagen due to injuries and trauma to the skin, such as acne scarring, stretch marks, and other scars. Microneedling is a proven treatment for significantly reducing acne scars and is most beneficial when done is a series of four to six treatments.

 

Topical Growth Factors can be added to a microneedling treatment for an additional boost  to healing and skin rejuvenation.
